JP OFFICIAL - EP/MIXTAPE

Creator: John Foliaki
Artform: Music / Dance / Performance
Timeframe: concert mid-2022
Location: Māngere Arts Centre

Project Summary

“I wish to release an EP titled “Golden Syrup”, named to reflect the journey I have been on in the last 3 years to arrive at a point where I am happy with myself, more confident with my creative abilities and unapologetic in my efforts to make my dreams come true.” – JP FOLIAKI

To bring this project to life JP will be working with multiple creative people predominately from the Māngere Otahuhu area. Dancers, videographer, photographer and local singers. During the process of producing the EP this team of producers will offer free workshops for youth to attend and gain inspiration and learnings in the process of using creative arts as a form of expression.

Following the creation of this EP a concert to promote and celebrate its release will take place at Mangere Arts Centre.
