Māngere-Ōtāhuhu Arts

Share, Seek and Promote

The Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts Noticeboard and monthly E-Newsletter is a place for creative artists, groups and organisations in the local area to share, seek, promote, and post a "call-out" to the local community.

The E-Newsletter goes out every month and focuses on news and events happening within that month. E-Newsletter submissions are required by the last day of each month to be included in the following months newsletter. Noticeboard submissions can be received at anytime and will be published online within 1-2 days.

You can submit your notice for either the Noticeboard, or the monthly E-Newsletter or both. We'll also endeavour to share your notice on the Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts Facebook page if you like. Simply fill in the notice submission form here. Or email renee@mangereotahuhuarts.org.nz with your notice: title, jpeg image and text.

Remember to sign up to receive the monthly e-newsletter here and follow us on Facebook @mangereotahuhuarts

Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts - CALL FOR PROPOSALS / NOW OPEN

Are you a local performer, musician or creative artist?

Do you have a creative project that you’d like to make happen in the Māngere Ōtāhuhu area?

We are looking for people, and organisations, to submit ideas for creative projects that happen in and with local communities. These projects could involve craft, performance, visual arts, music, film, dance, kapa haka, spoken word, or digital arts - anything that has a creative angle to it - and could happen everywhere from the street to theatres, shopping centres or marae.

The main criteria for this programme are:
- to meaningfully involve your community
- projects are led by local people
- each project has a strong creative idea behind it

The Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts Broker, Renée Tanner, can support you to develop and deliver your creative project or idea, whether this be assisting with funding, or helping to find the right location or people for you to work with.

PROPOSALS DUE BY FRIDAY 17 August. Read what's required of your proposal here: https://www.mangereotahuhuarts.org.nz/about/
If you would like to talk, or meet up and learn more before submitting a project, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Renée on: Mob. 021 1496707 Email: renee@mangereotahuhuarts.org.nz

If you'd like to see what kind of projects have been supported in the past, and currently - visit the WHAT'S HAPPENED & WHAT'S ON sections of our website www.mangereotahuhuarts.org.nz

Please "share" this opportunity among your networks, and sign up to our Newsletter - we'll then keep you in the loop of events and creative projects in the area http://eepurl.com/dcGgxX

Kia ora!
