The Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts website Noticeboard and E-Newsletter is a place for creative artists, groups and organisations in the local area to share, seek, promote, and post a "call-out" to the local community.
You can submit your notice for either the Noticeboard, or the monthly E-Newsletter or both. We'll also endeavour to share your notice on the Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts Facebook page if you like.

Mangere Z World Manu Champs Jan 29th 2024

Title/Creators: Mangere Z World Manu Champs Jan 29th 2024 (Auckland) Anniversary in association with Manu World Champs, Moana Nui-a-Kiwi Pool and Leisure Centre, J-Hustle, RepFM.

Timeframe: Monday 29th Jan 2024, 12 noon - 4pm.
Location: Moana Nui-a-Kiwi Pool and Leisure Centre.

māngere bombing comp

A MASSIVE opportunity to put Māngere on a worldwide scale. J-Hustle is the official merchandiser for the competitions duration of the comp and has been given the opportunity to run a qualifying event that the winners go into the finals which will be held at the Auckland viaduct.

Māngere has the only and first pool designed to cater for this comp dating back to the early 1990's. Our Mangere kids spend hours here perfecting their craft in doing their bombs. Creating this atmosphere to help the rangatahi of Mangere chase their dreams and keeping fit in this sport is the main goal of this event.

The Z World Manu Champs organiser has been building his networks to present this sport to the olympics where id love to see our Mangere kids thrive. This sport is only in NZ and we’re all looking at Māngere to lead the way on a worldwide stage. Let’s do this!!
