Share, Seek and Promote

The Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts Noticeboard and monthly E-Newsletter is a place for creative artists, groups and organisations in the local area to share, seek, promote, and post a "call-out" to the local community.

The E-Newsletter goes out every month and focuses on news and events happening within that month. E-Newsletter submissions are required by the last day of each month to be included in the following months newsletter. Noticeboard submissions can be received at anytime and will be published online within 1-2 days.

You can submit your notice for either the Noticeboard, or the monthly E-Newsletter or both. We'll also endeavour to share your notice on the Māngere Ōtāhuhu Arts Facebook page if you like. Pathways to Performing Arts Workshop Series begins May 10th

Pathways to Performing Arts Workshop series - with Queen Shirl'e at Mangere Town Centre Library

Local industry professional Shirl'e Fruean delivers a workshop series designed to help young artists gain basic understanding of the performing arts sector, including song writing, video making and film acting techniques.  Students gain confidence in performing in front of a live audience and producing their own music. Music industry professionals involved in the workshop delivery include: Lavina Williams, Devolo, Lacoco and Rita APRA.

A 4 week workshop series was held in March, free of charge for youth aged 7-18yr olds at Mangere Town Centre Library.  The programme was extended due to popular demand!  We're pleased to announce a 6 week workshop series starting Thursday 10th May at Mangere Town Centre Library from 4.00 - 6.00pm.
For more info and to register email Queen Shirl'e at queenshirlemusic@gmail.com

Queen Shirl'e is also delivering a 6 week workshop series at Mangere East Library starting Wed 11th May, to learn more visit the Pathways to Performing Arts Facebook page
